Health and safety at work

Recent years have seen an increased focus on the importance of a healthy working environment, physically as well as psychologically. The starting point of the legal regulation is the Danish Working Environment Act, but more detailed regulation is provided in countless executive orders, guidance papers and directions.

We advise on:

  • Implementation of staff policies relating to psychological work environment
  • Improvement notices and prohibition notices issued by the Danish Working Environment Authority
  • Establishment of a safety organisation
  • Compensation claims by employees for industrial injuries, including occupational injuries
  • Decisions by the National Board of Industrial Injuries in its capacity as administrator of the statutory industrial injury insurance
  • Reimbursement claims by local authorities for sickness benefits paid and/or repayment of sickness benefits due to sickness caused by industrial injury
