I see the challenge in setting the strategy and watching it work – whether in the context of litigation, negotiations or in drawing up pay and incentive programmes, staff policies or similar schemes. For me, the strategy has worked if I have a happy client and if the strategy was successful without jeopardising relations with employees, organisations or others.
I advise on all aspects of labour and employment law, but my areas of special interest are:
- Financial institutions, including pay and collective agreement issues particular to financial sector employees as well as the special financial sector regulation
- International and multinational organisations and their legal issues – including advising foreign-based management and HR functions
- Legal inquiries for public authorities, private sector companies and organisations
- Acting as an arbitrator or umpire in labour and employment law disputes
- Advising on industrial relations
- Management and development of law firm
I recently ...
- advised at an international level on incentive-based pay in the financial sector, including on the implications of EU measures on the horizon
- successfully conducted a Supreme Court case for the Danish Football Association about the relationship between the Association's right to set professional footballers' terms of employment and collective agreements

- was involved in the establishment of the International Bar Association’s Global Employment Institute
